Activity
Via Ferrata
Espolón de la Virgen, El Puente and Peñas Juntas.
Description
The via ferrata is halfway between the vertical world of climbing and hiking. They are equipped routes on the rock wall with iron steps, handrails and safety cable. This modality allows us to discover interesting corners and feel the verticality of traditional climbing safely whatever our level is. In Rodellar we find the Via Ferrata “El Espolón de la Vírgen”, a nice excursion where we can contemplate the spectacular views of the canyon Mascún and the Citadela. The via ferrata is normally combined with the Barranco de la Virgen, which is a dry canyon with several rappels.
